"We've had a wonderful 2 weeks here- Outstanding!"
It's a beautiful part of France & there is so much to see and do. Recommended places to visit are Bergerac, Brantome, St Astier market on Thursdays, St Jean de Cole, Bordeaux (use the park&ride and tram- well worth it), Monpazier, Limeuil.... Phew, don't forget to enjoy the pool! Look out for the kingfishers and coypou down at the river.
Tony and Sonia- you've done a wonderful job of this place- thanks for your welcome and for being such good hosts.

Earlier entries have really said it all for us - Lovely informative hosts, lovely family, lovely cottage, lovely garden, lovely weather (well, not really but this did not "dampen" our enjoyment, lovely pool , and sleeping in a giant-sized budgie cage is definitely a first for us!
We've had a wonderful, memorable stay, lets hope it's "au revoir" and not "adieu".

It's hard to top what has already been written about this fantastic place and it's equally tremendous hosts.
Quite simply we have had the best holiday ever and I feel like we have made life long friends. Good luck with the barn and here's to the next visit!

What a wonderful week of variety and contrasts! We have travelled through time from pre-history and beautiful cave paintings, to medieval castles, to the home of Josephine Baker, 1920's Folies Bergères dancer, resistance fighter and general philanthropist (Les Milandes).
We've eaten with the truckers at Lou Marmitou and in the cosy decadence of La Tupina (awesome recommendations Tony!)
From the busy streets of Bordeaux to sleepy villages, sunshine to wild thunderstorms, you can't find a much better place for experiencing the spice of life.
La Feuillade was more lovely than we could have imagined from the website- it had everything we needed and made a fantastic base for our expeditions as well as a wonderful retreat when we fancied a day or two of complete relaxation.
There is a real talent in this family for making the perfect holiday experience and giving little touches of delight everywhere you go, from the hand-painted signs to chicken chasing to fabulous advice and recommendations, we really couldn't have asked for more.

We had a wonderful week here! Our cottage was perfect, the gardens sublime but the hospitality was truly a great treat! We wish you all happiness and peace in this little Eden. Thanks for everything!!
